Halloween!

It was the perfect week for celebrating Halloween!

Our class in their costumes!

Our handsome boys

And lovely girls!

Our 4 Queen Elsa's

Here we are going next door to Edward Jones for some trick-or-treating!

We had lots of fun at our Halloween party this week!  Here we are playing Halloween Bingo.  For many of our students, this was their first time playing Bingo!  They loved it!

These friends are picking out their pumpkin and getting ready to decorate it.  I hope those beautiful, sparkly pumpkins made it home ok!

These friends are making their Halloween snack mix.  Marshmallows, chocolate chips, raisins and candy corn.  Yummy!

Hot potato was a hit!

Here they are playing pin the bow tie on the skeleton!

More Bingo!

These cuties are putting the faces on their jack o lanterns!

Here our friends are trying to toss the bean bag into each pumpkin to get a prize!

We loved seeing the pumpkins you decorated at home!  So creative!

These kids are lacing a web for their hand print spiders!  Spooky!

Tracing letters on the iPad!

Ms. Tomara is painting feet to make some ghost footprints.  She found some ticklish toes!

Here is our Star for this week!  We ran out of time on our Halloween party day!

Pumpkins!

We are learning about fire safety!  The firefighters brought a short video for us to watch and showed us their uniforms.  We loved seeing their firetruck too!

We were excited to come back and put together our new firetruck puzzle!

Painting our pumpkins!

This was a favorite activity this week.  We used toy hammers to pound golf tees in pumpkins.  Great practice for small motor skills!

Show-and-tell was so fun today!  We had cars, Cheez-its, cats, a camel, Cinderella, a cape, a crayon, Captain America, and Capt'n Crunch!

Here we are in orange!  These are the best I could do :)

Girls working hard!

These buddies are playing a letter game on the iPad during stations.  They loved it!

These friends are working on their pumpkin predictions.  We drew a picture of our pumpkin, and guessed how many seeds would be inside the pumpkin.  Most kids guessed there would be 4-5 seeds inside.  Boy were we surprised when there were over 100 seeds!  We counted them all :)  I couldn't believe how few students would stick their hands inside to pull out the seeds!  They didn't want to get their hands messy!

Here are our hand print pumpkins!  We painted circles for the pumpkin and our hand print for the leaf.  So cute!!

LOVE our STARS!!!
