Fall Leaves!

I think our "Fall leaf" theme was enjoyed by all this week!

These students are showing off the rubbings they made with crayons and plastic leaves.  This was a new activity for most of our students!

These friends are showing us their decorated number 6's.  We worked those fine motor skills by having them peel off tiny stickers to fill in the number 6.

These cuties are showing us their "Leaf Reports."  Our students chose a leaf to examine, and determined if it was large, medium or small, recorded its color, and tried to see how many pennies would fit inside their leaf.  I think they really enjoyed this activity!

Wow!  Look at this new addition to our classroom!  Thanks to all of you and the money raised by our Trike-a-thon, Ms. Tracy was able to purchase flat screen tv's for each of our classrooms!  The kids absolutely LOVED singing along with the Storybots as they sang about the letter U!  We also learned a song about the color brown that we were able to watch the words as we sang them!  I can't wait to utilize this technology in our classroom in many more ways!

Show and tell fun!  We had some umbrellas, the movie Up, unicorns, letter U's, someone in uniform, an ultrasound and a USA puzzle to help us learn about the letter U!

Our class in brown, our 4th try :)

These buddies are gluing the correct number of leaves in each basket.  We had some pretty Fall baskets!

Look at these beautiful Fall trees our students painted and decorated!

Our students love Fall!  They wrote about their favorite part of the season.  Check these out hanging in our classroom.  So cute!

Love these Stars!!!
