Community Helpers!

Community Helpers Week!

Here we are reviewing our sight and color words and listening to a book about community helpers.  We sure are getting so smart!

These friends are cutting out their tools for their tool belts.

So cute!

These buddies are working together to build a house with the play dough and sticks.  They are so creative!

These cuties are making patterns with these colored screws.

This sweet girl is showing us the house she made by painting bricks with a square sponge.

Another cutie in his tool belt!

This friend is leading us in our letter sounds song.  What a good helper!

Our class learning about the letter "M"

These bakers are flipping over cookies to find a sight word on the back!

This vet kit was definitely a favorite toy this week!

Look at these adorable chefs!

Sweet babies!

Free center fun!

Here are a few pictures from our special visitors today.  These dogs were soooo sweet and the kids loved petting them!

More morning meeting helpers!

Show-and-tell--we had monkeys, money, mittens, marbles, mac & cheese, a mutant ninja turtle, motorcycle, Madison brought herself, a picture of mom, Mickey Mouse, a Merida doll and Mom's money!

These smarties are showing us an "x-ray" of their hand.  We talked about how helpful doctors and nurses are and how they can help us when we're sick or when we're hurt.

Some of our own community helpers this week (some didn't want their picture taken!)

Instead of doing Minds-in-Motion today, we did some relays instead!  Here they are hopping, crawling and skipping back to their teams!

Way to go girls!
