Eric Carle Week!

It was Eric Carle week this week in Pre-K!  We read lots of his books and loved doing some theme-related crafts!

Here is one of our new friends sharing her family pictures!  What a sweet family!

These friends are showing us their name caterpillars.  They had to find the dotted letters in their name, trace them, and put them in the right order to spell their name.  What a great job they did!

We were so lucky to have a visit from a Master Gardener this week!  She showed us some pretty amazing things!  She brought in an example of all the stages of a butterfly's life cycle.

She read us a story about butterflies.

Here we are looking at the caterpillar eggs on a leaf.

And here we are saying good-bye to a couple of beautiful butterflies!  The kids loved seeing them fly out of their cage to the flowers!

I wanted to show you the pictures of your cuties that they will be giving to their grandparents next Thursday.  They sure had big smiles holding this sign!

 Just some outdoor fun!

Show-and-tell!  We were so excited to share our letter E items!  We had some elephants, Elsa, the letter E, an egg, some engines, an eggplant, Eeyore, an earring, and some envelopes!  So creative!

 Our class in yellow!

Look at our stars!  These girls were outstanding this week!
