Grandparent's Day and Apples!

Grandparent's Day and Apple Week!

Look at our sweet class picture!  We were walking back from practicing a fire drill and saw the perfect place for a picture!  I hope by the end of the year we can get everyone looking at the camera at the same time:)

We loved all the special guests that came in on Thursday!  The kids were so excited to see them, and I think the grandparents were just as excited to see them too!  They enjoyed making a snack together, decorating a picture frame for their "I love my Grandparents" picture, and creating a family tree picture with a tracing of their arms and hands.  But I think they loved exploring the room-playing with all our toys and reading books with them the most!  What a special day!

Show-and-tell!  We had helmets, hats, Hello Kitty, lots of horses, helicopters, Hulk gloves, hair clip and a heart, to name a few of our "H" items!

 Looking good in green!

Here we are taste testing a red apple, green apple and yellow apple.  We picked our favorite and graphed it!

These buddies are working on their letter "H" papers!

These cuties are stamping apples cut in half to make a painted picture.  They loved getting messy!

Mrs. Tomara is painting this little guy's hand to make an apple tree with some special fingerprint apples!

Here is our class graph of our favorite type of apples!

Look at our "Stars" this week! They were awesome!
