Winter Animals/Hibernation

It was a fun week learning about hibernation!
These cuties are showing us the penguins they made!

Here are some pictures from our morning circle time.  We are leaning the days of the week, what yesterday and tomorrow will be, the months of the year, patterns, looking at the weather each day, counting in Spanish, counting by 10s, counting to 50, letters and letter sounds, new sight words and a new number each week. We are getting so smart!

These smarties are putting stickers in10-frames to show our number this week, 12.

Some cuties sponge painting a polar bear!

These friends are working on cutting out the pictures for their hibernation book.  We worked on cutting everyday this week!

Here our class is playing a number identification game.  They walked around in a circle until the music stopped, and then they had find the number I called out.

Playtime fun!

The next few pictures are from our morning centers.  These focus on a variety of Pre-K skills.

Show-and-tell today was for the letter "K."  We had lots of kittens, keys, Kool-Aid, a knee pad, a knight, a kiwi, Klaire brought herself, Krusty the clown, a Superhero that can kick, and ketchup!

Fun with playdough!

Cutting out our penguins!

Our cute little penguins, all finished!

Our "Star" this week.  We ran out of time the other 2 days!  Sorry about that!
